Needle Question

Im just curious if it is posible to switch out a 04 or older adjustable needle for the non adjustable 05+ ones.

yes you can exchange them. if you have to buy one though they are about 30 bucks for just the needle, unless you know someone or can get a used one from an old carb.

You can get a DynoJet kit for 45 to 55 dollars. It comes with an adjustable needle, 9 different sized jets, and the special "D" shaped tools to adjust the fuel screw on 2005 and up carbs.

you can also get an older fuel screw the you can use a flathead screw driver with for about $18 but i think the dynojet kit would be a better option since ive spent about the same amount on tools and jets...and time and gas running back and forth.
