I was just wondering what are the advantages of runing cam 2? also can you run it with a stock motor, and does runing cam 2 cause your motor to burn up quicker ( blow up) ? thanxs

Most race gases that claim hp gain with lower compression usually have to be drained. Now a stock 05 yfz is not the same motor as stock compression 400ex. Don't know much about CAM2 but if you guys are burning it hopefully you do??? So with a stock motor I do not think you will see much of an advantage. Possibly a better burn or a a slightly cooler running motor depending on what additives that race fuel has, considering you have your jetting & everything else set up correctly for that race/pump gas mix. So with just running it you may be getting more composites /carbon build up & doing more harm than good. Not something you will notice right away or even at all without checking for it? Higher the octane the higher the ignition point of that fuel. Which is the main reason a higher octane fuel is required in a high compression motor, to avoid predetination or sometime that ping you can here.
