FCR carb mod on 04

Ok I'm thinking of getting a fcr on my 04 now that the pricings on the fcrs have gone down. Is this mod really worth it, are the gains really that great?

Yes!... this is a great mod. I just did it to my 04' and it revs so much quicker and seems so much faster. I dont know if it really is faster, but i would bet that it is. i didnt know what i was missing, and you dont either. one of the best mods in my opinion.

Does it take alot of work to do this or does everything wire right up?

Also how much is this around?

umm.. i got a used 05' crf450r carb off of ebay for 260, then bought the noss adapter for 65... then you will need some jets. so if you can find a cheap good carb used then not too much. all you need to do is rewire the tps. you just cut the tps off the stoock carb and rewire it to the one on the fcr and use the plastic peice on the stock carb to plug it in.
