Hey guys, i have some ?S.

Are 88-89 nerf bars the same as 86-87? I bought a set of AC pro pegs from a member on here, who had them on a 88. When I asked him if they would fit a 87 and he said yes, so i bought them thinkng they woudl fit. But the back piece that you attach to the frame is totally different. So they dont work. i will try to get some pics.
Another ?, were can i just buy the whole bracket that bolts to the frame for these pro pegs to work? Any body have a set they would want to sell?? I will try to post pics later if this is to confusing.

Thanks

The 88-89 footpegs mounted with a single bolt thru the frame. The 86-87 footpegs are made to a plate that uses 2 bolts to mount to the frame. On the pro peg setup the 88-89 style come with a "stob" that uses the single bolt to attach to the frame and the nerfs slide on to.The 86-87 style have the stob made onto a flat piece that matches the 2 bolt plate the stock pegs have. The nerfs themselves will work with either stob.you can get the 87 stle stfrom just about anyone that deals in AC products.

You have to call them. I got them from one of their auctions on eBay.
They were something like $130.00 to $150.00

Kirt,I hope you mean you gave that for the complete nerf package??Call up an AC dealer, maybe C&D at the top of the forum page,or Nacs,East Coast ATV,etc.I'll bet they can find the adapters you need.
