Front Hood

Alright i know i am a cheap *** i want one of the quadtech front
hood is there any way i can mount the stock headlights and make them look decent. Without totally getting rid of them.

sorry I keep on answering your threads but, No there ain't. I hope you can find a QT Hood cus I've searched hi and low and no one has one for sale. That will be an item that will be dearly missed.

I am not specifically searching for quadtech. I may buy some headlights off ebay. No, prob. about answering my threads you have some good suggestions and are knowlegable on the subjects of atvs. I thankyou for answering my questions.:D

what youi could do is mount some lazer star or PIAA lights on your frame.a buddy has a hood on his r and has the lights that attach to the frame and the look pretty bad arse.

Thats what i am kinda thinking. If I don't get the hood I may try and get some fulbore front plastics. Do they make it faster :D . No but seriously will they look ok and fit on the quad with the stock rear plastic. What color I am thinking of is black front(or that gun metal) and my old red rear. What do you guys think it would look like.

The black front would look real good if you got some kind of graphics that faded to the red..

The reason why I know a lot of info on 400ex's is cus I read a lot and I mean a lot of articles and threads and whatever you can think of about them, but all atv's in general I know nothing about them. I know tiny bits about 450R's but thats it. I know some stuff about ute's too.

yep exactly.

Hoods allow i think it is 40% more air flow to your motor.
AS for lights if yo uneed them i would go to a auto parts store and buy some smal lfog lights or sumthing and mount them in your air scoops or by your bumper or sumthing.
Alot of people just mount their stock 400ex lights down behind hte bumper but it dont look to good but i see allot of 400ex's that way.

have a look on ebay for a seller called the carbon depot, i just bought a quadtech copy hood from him, its the vented type, came to £82 including shipping to the UK

A cool thing to do would be to buy a fullbore 450r hood put it on the ex and then put trail tech lights in the noes holes. Looks trick.
