Ok!

I'm not sure if I'm staying with this scheme or not. I VERY quickly threw it together tonight just to get it up. Take a look at the pic in the upper left of the site. I'm looking for a pic (with proper riding gear of course) to replace the one that's there. I can adjust the color of the sand and background as needed to help blend it but the closer the better?

I'll be adding templates as I get them. The main thing is that the templates I put up MUST fit perfectly. I'm a perfectionist! So if anyone has any templates or if anyone gets a new set of graphics for something I don't have I would appreciate it if you could trace them and send me the paper tracing.

The concept is good.:) Finding contributors willing to give up templates may be tough. I would think one would hold on to such a thing for financial gain.

For the graphic on the website it really doesn't matter Pappy. I can pull up just about any format.

As far as templates go:

The first set I actually did by hand on my LTR printing each section on my wide format printer and sizing as needed. The two you see on the site were done with my blank template. There are others but they haven't sent me their files.

I have a set for a Banshee coming. The individual traced his new graphics kit out on paper and is sending it to me. I'll scan it in and then trace around the edges in Illustrator if nothing else.

Now if someone already has the templates in digital form that would be SWEET.

I really hope this takes off because if it does I think we can really see some AWESOME custom graphics in the future.

You're right but there are plenty of us that buy graphics and if we develop them ourselves we all benefit.

I like the idea myself. Alot of times a person has access to having graphics made but no templates.

If it's a good shot I can actually take the quad and put it in a dune setting. Let's see what everyone comes up with first. If I can't find anything I may be shooting you a PM.

By the way the individual who made the two graphics kits for the LTR that are posted had each set printed for less than $60. Now that's a steal.

Those LTR graphics are very sick looking. Can't wait to see what you come up with the 450R and YFZ.

It's not me coming up with the designs. It's individuals like yourself who want to design their own.

The first few you see were designed by an individual that had NEVER used Illustrator before. The Dragon templates were actually done in Corel Draw and converted to Illustrator. Personally I'm not that good. Once I get some 450r templates I'm sure they will take off as well.

Well now you don't have to have Illustrator, Photoshop or Corel Draw in order to design their own graphics. I'll have to convert all the graphics to SVG and post them to the website but now anyone can do it.

It's Open Source software so it's FREE and of course there is no spyware either.
