400ex wanted bad!!!

ive been wanting to get a quad forever and i decided on a 400ex but none of the dealers had any in so ive been looking for used ones but cant kinf any appealing to me anywear so this is what im looking for:
400ex can be stock doesnt matter to me
id preffer the newer models but the older style is alright with me
good condition not alot of rust or scratches
and in perfect running order
im looking to only spend about 2500 at the most and i need to be able to see the quad before purchase so the closer the better and i like in Rockland County, NY

Hello there. My brother might be selling his 99 400ex. It has new maier yellow race front fenders, stock black rears of an 06. The engine was rebuilt and has less than 20 hours on it. Graydon proline pipe, omf shrouds, a custom painted frame that fades from yellow to black, and a durablue axle. I'm sure there are other after market parts that I am forgetting.
