i am well aware that every motor has a TDC i have a 04 450r and a 06 but only a 04 manual, they seem different to me, im putting a new cam in the 06 and need to know if the tdc is the same, obviously ur not sure so i will wait for the right replay Thanks

TDC = top dead center or when the piston reaches the end of the stroke. All motors have a top dead center. I'm really not sure how you can judge if they are the same.

the flywheel should be marked when the engine is at top dead center anyway, but to answer your question no, i dont think that the 06s have a longer stroke or anything just higher compression

I do know, your question makes absolutely no sense!? Are you asking if finding TDC is the same procedure? Just do it the same way by checking the flywheel marking and then make sure all of the valves have a little play, this means the cam is not activating any of them.;)
