Been 15 years since i was on a quad. Benn wanting to get back into it . Friend of mine calls me and says i found you a bike.Its a 2000 400ex,has new plastic,Houser stem,and Swing arm both + something lol , oversized oil tank,renthal bars,Bead locks,holeshots,antiseze axle nut,hand guards,billet covers on everything and gas cap,nerfs,ims bumper,416 kit,tranny got new 2nd 3rd gear,o ring yellow chainlonger throttle billet,thats all i can think of at moment......picked it up for $3200......couldnt resist it lol so now im back riding and found a site to chat about it lol only thing it doesnt have is A arms...anybody got a set? oh and worcs shocks front andback and a yoush full system and jetted..................um thats about it i think when i get some pics ill post um

oh forgot has stablizer.......and new moose clutch perch and lever moved closer to the bar cause my left hand fingers dont work right anymore lol and i think thats about it .:D

yeah its great so far.took the K&N off for a 2 stage where i ride is alot of water dont wanna suck that through the engine :( and thx or the welcome :)

Pictures... Pictures... Picutures. Welcome to the site and if you need a arms or any other suspension products check out ebay its loaded with'em. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. The only thing i would be worred about is the gears that had to be replaced. Get a heavy duty clutch. Those bored engines can put some serious strain on em. What compression 10:5.1, 11:1, 12:5.1, ect. Also you should run high oct. gas you probably alread knew that. But might as well state it. You bought the right quad.

wellcome to the site. good thing u chucked the K&N, they suck....i will never buy one again. sucks dirt into my intake all the time.

yeah im running 110/98 half and half mix has new Hinson clutch kit,and they put 2nd and 3rd gears in when they refreshed the motor since they are used the most and it was already torn down.So far i have no complaints with it,and dont have a digital cam. so gonna have to wait on the pics until i can find someone to take them thx for the welcomes tho .:D

its all about timing your shifting right...and the rider..
