Is it a must to widen rear axle when front a arms are at a +2. Do hub spacers qualify or is a extended axle probable.

both will work, the axle is the better choice

Its not nessecary to compensate in the rear for the front, however you wont be taking full advantage of widening the bike without doing the rear also. Its still going to be tippy ( the front will only act as a pivot point for the rear tire to lift up. If your not going to be jumping or riding hard wheel spacers can be used but if you want to do it right and make it strong you will have to run a wider axle, or go with those new RAD hubs that will widen your rear.

In my experience, I noticed that with my axle at stock width and a plus 2 front end, the bike will push through corners, while when you have equal front and rear width the bike will be more balanced and will tend to handle much better.

I don't advise anyone to get wheel spacers if riding hard. Just spend a little extra on arms..

Most Rad PRODUCTS ARE WELL BUILT.

wheel spacers for the rear arent all that bad...IF....you do not jump or ride extremely hard. Ive seen so many tweaked stock axles due to wheel spacers and someone who DOESNT jump (or so they said...lol)

Used axles are everywhere, picking up adecent LSR or RPM or even buying a new G-force would be my recommendation over wheel spacers.

ok, looking at new axle. What is a 2+2 axle. What does that mean.

2" wider on each side for a total of +4 width.

Check your rear vs front stock. A lot of quads, stock the rear is wider than the front, so you may only need a 1+1 axle.

Best bet is to get a 2+2 w/ adjsutable collars from 0+0 to 2+2. Most 2+2 axles are adjsutable like this.

A 2+2 axle is an axle that is adjustable in it's width. It can be +2 inches wider than stock with the spacers outside the hub or it can be +4 inches wider than stock with the spacers inside and the hub outside of them.
