I've steadily got fuel comming into to my air filter and dripping out. Can anybody tell me why? Any help is greatly appreciated. I just got this quad its a 2002 400EX, I finally got it ready to start and started it last night. It ideled pretty good but anytime that you accelerated it would bog down real bad. So, I let it sit and run for about 30 minutes then it seemed that it was going to run okay. I jumped on for the first ride got about 200yards from the house downshifted to turn around then when I hit the gas it boged down and died. It wouldn't start again so I pushed it to the house parked it in the garage. Woke up this morning and the garage smelled like gas and there was gas in the air box. Thanks for any help,t.c.

what do you have for jetting? Try and take your float bowl off maybe your float is stuck.

Sounds like your jetted too rich, might try coming down a couple sizes on the main jet, also try and clean the carb with carb cleaner, i would also check the spark plug, you probably fouled it when you ran it the other night, explains the not starting.

i would check and make sure about the jetting, stock jetting shouldnt cause a bog
