I run a rear dual elka linkage long travel rear end. I was wondering if air box lift is a enough lift for bottoming out. They say the lift kit give you 1/2 inch lift is that a enough. Your opinions

You do not need a lift kit for that linkage. Your shock will not hit the airbox. Don't worry, and save your money for something else.

my wishbone that is on the top of the swingarm hits my airbox everytime I get more then 5 feet in the air. My rear shock is valved for strictly trails though

its not the shock that will hit its the air box on the swinger.

See if u can make sumthing. I have it for my Jb set up and it looks like u can make one easily from a peice of flat metel and cut it and drill 2 holes

^^yep, that's what I plan on doing. I have the same 17" elka set up and haven't hit yet. When I do, then I'll worry about it. :)

The rear brake caliper hits the air box. I race XC and with 50LBS of mud on quad . You will crack the air box . Houser, and Ars fx makes lift kits. I want aluminum air box that has a enough clearance. I have a TRX 450r 04 , elka rear shock eye to eye 17 !/4 inches, elka rear dual linkage, and +1 1/4 swing arm.
