Ok so i've decided to stick with my quad. Now i'm wanting to set my quad up for jumping and such. not so much MX but so my quad can take huge gapped jumps and such. Since i dont know much about suspension setup and a-arms whats everybody's advice. will +2 make me soak up the jumps better with a pair of elka. I want the +2 but i dont want long travel. and if i dont get long travel will it ride better than stock length a-arms with a pair of elkas?

it will be more stable with +2 a-arms. yes you will notice a great difference with +2 arms and elkas, but if you want to hit huge gaps id just go long travel from the start. youll definatly have to gusset the frame, and even then the frames still break. so id go long travel for a little added dampening. if you dont get long travel, make sure you get some shocks valved for everything you want them for from the start. dont buy used and ride them if theyre valved for a lesser weight, cause if your hitting huge gaps youll bottom out and thats no good haha. also get an aftermarket axle if you havent already. you basically can go with any arm and shock setup youd like. i wouldnt recommend anything without rezzies though. try to get a nice shock if possible.
