where is the air feul screw on a stock ex carb?

it's in front of the float bowl next to the idle screw. hope that helps.

It faces downwards, not to the side.

BTW, there are air screws and there are fuel screws. A carb will have one type or the other. It's a fuel screw on the EX (and most every other four stroke carb).
