04-06 trx450r exhaust

i was curious if the exhaust where swapable between the 04/5 and the 06 trx450r?? if not what is the diffrence???

exhaust port angles are different, The head pipe is bend different to. So no they won't fit

What was the reason for the change?

The head from thed dirt bike had revised angle for better flow. When this was changed it force them to change the head pipe also. The new head makes more low end power due to the smaller port sizes
