which are the better shocks, i have an 03 z400 and i am upgrading...but which would be a better upgrade? stock 450r front shocks with rezzies or works tripple rates with no rezzies? im looking to race sometimes and still ride alot of trails

Stock 450r shocks are piggyback. IMO, you would be better off going w/ the works set up for your weight, a-arms, and riding style

I would take a fully adjustable reservoir shock over a non-adjustable emulsion shock any day. I have stock 450R shocks and +2 a-arms on my 400ex and I took a 3rd and 2nd in WORCS Production B, so even with no modifications, they work pretty well. The 450R shocks also have a lot more potential, in my opinion, if you decide to have them set up in the future. I had a set of Works emulsion shocks, and I wasn't too impressed.
