Is there an aftermarket fuel/air screw that will fit a stock 400EX carb? I've seen some screws out there that allow for quick and easy adjustments. The stock fuel/air screw is a pain in the @$$ to get to ecspecially when the motors running.
I almost purchased a FCR screw but, I'm not sure it will fit a stock carb. What do you guys have? Any suggestions?

I want to be certain it will fit a stock carb on a 400EX. I'm hoping to hear from someone that has one installed and if so, where they got it.

Sorry, unless you've got an FCR that won't fit.

I've considered making one out of the stock screw. I'm picturing drilling a small hole in the center of the screw in which an equally sized metal "stick" could be epoxied. Just somthing to make the screw longer.

I ended up buying a 90 degree screw driver from MotionPro that's designed for those tough to reach places.

I have a similar idea. I own a 2006 400EX with the "D' shaped head on the fuel/air screw. I recently purchased a stock 1999-2004 flat tip slotted fuel/air screw. I plan to JB weld the below pictured tool to the screw and install it permanently to the carb. I just hope it clears the idle screw bracket. I may even mark quarter turns on it to accurately know what adjustments I'm making.
