Mounting side pipes on a car

I'm pickin up a set of side pipes for my Regal, and I haven't mounted a set of these before, and I'm just looking for some advice, or how you've done it, or seen it done.

They make a killer set of side ground effects with an exhaust outlet for GM G-bodys, they were optional equipment on some El Caminos and I think a few Montes.

Here are the ones for the Camino, I think they would fit the Regal also.
