My friend just bought an 2005 trx 450r for 4500.00.

The thing is mint and rides pretty nice. The only thing that he hates is the way the kick start is.


What do you think about that price..

I have seen them for a better price.

BUT, it does depend on the area. Quads go for different prices in different areas.

I bought my 05' with about 2 hours on it for $4550 in June of this year. It already had Moose Race-Peg Nerfs on it as well. I definitely don't regret it!

If your friend knew about some of the 06' E-Start problems, he would be very thankful for that kicker.

I wouldn't trade my kicker for anything....RELIABLE is the only word for it.

Even if I were to buy an 07', it would have to be a KICKER :).

I havent had any problems with my ER.But i have the extended warranty if i do.No gas when starting and your fine.LOL.But almost everyone is used to giving a bike some gas during start up.Go figure.

well the kicker is annoying at times (especially winter), you could tell your freind to do what i do, when i go ridin with friends (a couple has z's a couple has ex's one has an er and one with an raptor and ect.) anyway when we take off im the only one with a kicker and when i start it i look over at them and say "old school", "old school" and take off.
