250r hood??

is it possible to install a 250r hood on 400ex factory front plastic? i just want to change the look abit and thought this might be a less expensive alternative.

It sure is. I went with a maier hood because they were fairly cheap. It matched up pretty good, you just had to do a little cutting on the front fenders and drill a few holes for the bolts to match up. But all in all i liked the way it turned out. Heres a pic of mine.

thats the look i was leaning toward. how does maier list that hood? the bike looks killer!!! thanks.

I think it was under like 250r scooped hood or something like that.
