PLEASE help remove axle nut ??

please give me some info on how to remove clip on rear axle, so I can remove axle nuts and axle...replacing axle bearings, and not having any luck getting started....:confused: :confused: :confused:

use a small flat head screw driver and dig underneath and pry it over (it wont break). or you can use what i call a ring gap opener...it looks like needle nose pliars but when you squeeze the handle the tip opens to spread the gap on the clip open...I have done it both ways several times (for unfortunate reasons) and it works. Haven't broke anything yet:)
