i have used a horton for the past 6 or 7 years. its still killin:p

i bought it for crop damage on one farm we hunt. there is about a 30 acre cornfield surrounded by houses and a strip of woods. the deer are wise to us upfront and even getting to draw on one was so hard it was almost impossible.

the first week after sighting in my crossbow, i was killing deer every night.

its no more accurate then a regular compound bow, but it is much easier to shoot and instantly someone can go bow hunting without the hours upon hours of practice needed to become a proficient marksman.

i still think its heavy, and they tend to make a good bit of noise when fired(usually doesnt matter because the deer has a broadhead in'em)

for alot of folks, they are the only choice do to health problems.

The best shooting bow now is the Ten Point. The cost is really high though.

I personally shoot a Horton 35th anniverary. It is a great bow and I can shoot accurately with it up to 60 yards.

The bow I would recommend for a good price and a good bow is the Horton Supermag or Horton Legacy(I think thats it)
