used 03 400ex whats it worth?

I have the chance to buy a used 2003 400ex off of someone. heres its condition...

its kept outside under a tarp
plastic is faded from the sun
doesnt start dead battery from sitting around
hasnt run in a while
one owner since new
ridden by a girl and is stock except for tag bars
motor was taken care of and has nad no major damage or problems
low hours

what do you think its worth? they payed 4300 for it from the dealer when new. I am going to offer 2000 for it as it is now. Do you think thats low or is it okay? I dunno what its worth.

Im gonna use it for trail/woods racing and leave the 450r for mx.

i got my 2003 ex for 2700 but this baby was showroom cond.

1500 is what i would pay for it...sounds pretty ratty

If all thats wrong with it is faded plastics and a new battery,, I'd start low at $1800,, or even a little lower.
