I took my bowl off my carb on my 05 450R and there was a small plastic piece (jet holder according to parts fische) laying in the bowl, how do you put it back on?
I tried to slide it on over the jet but it just falls off. Pics would be nice.
Thanks

You will need to take the carb off the bike. Then put the plastic piece over the jet, and the cover back on.

I believe it just snaps on. Sometimes they'll stay better if you remove the main then put the baffle on then reinstall the main. If yours wants to fall off then you may need to replace it. It's fine to run without it while your waiting for a replacement. It's a fuel baffle designed to prevent fuel from sloshing away from the bottom of the main jet in extremely rough terrain. The worst that can happen when running without it is momentary fuel starvation.

The only case I can think of where I would not recommend riding without it would be on an MX track or anywhere where a momentary and sudden loss of throttle response could be dangerous.
