high compression help

I was planning to put a JE 416 11:1 in my 400 this winter, but im thinking ill want more power.....so im thinking of going with the 416 12:1 instead. My question is, will i need a heavy duty rod with this?? And what else will i need? (hd cam chain, valve seals, etc.)

A hot cams stage 2 a CR Cam Chain or HD cam chain, Valve Seals , HD studs. I think thats about it other than maybe clutch kit. I am no expert on this but I am pretty sure that it would do good with all those.

bump, i really need to know if a HD rod will be needed with a 12:1. my motor is a 99 by the way
