FST makes a 390 kit. Its a little over-kill tho in my opinion.

www.honda-motorcycles.com does
but for some reason they call it a 400EX, lol (397cc)

but for real, Dont let your frined waste his money on an unreliable modded 300ex motor that will be worthless and a waste of money.
It will only be barely faster than a 400ex (If build right), wont handle as good, he'll be doing re-builds like crazy, and will cost twice as much.
The 300ex motor isnt a great candidate for extreme mods.

and by the time you start modding it that much its gonna have way more money in it than a stock ex and you will pry get 2k or less out of it when you sell it with that extreme of mods. Tell him to save his money and save his stock parts if he does decide to get mod it so he can part out the mods later.

Yeah I would recomend a 330 and a new cam and clutch and valve springs and exaust to get the most outta that 330 kit. But I would tell him if he's stickin with the 300 to get suspension first. I look at it as that you can only go as fast as your quad will let you. Then you can build the engine up. Cuz the 300 can out perform that stock suspension.
