I have herd that you use the crf250 harness and not the 450 for doing the swap. But it just doesnt seem right to me. Will this work and be everything that I need to put it on my 06 450r.

I dont think the CRF side cover will work on the TRX. You have to have the TRX side cover machined to hold the CRF stator and eveything. But yeah the wiring harness, stator, flywheel, CDI, Coil and that suff will work. But like I said, your TRX side cover will need to be machined and an adapter plate made to fit the stator in the side cover. You may have to do some cutting and wiring to get the TPS wires to match from the carb to the wiring harness. I did this conversion on an 05, but I assume the 06 is same way. I had close to $1200 in the whole conversion with everything new, including the CRF carb.

Do you or anyone know if I can get a company to machine my case so the stator will fit. And can I buy the adaptor from anyone?

i bought everything on ebay , the CDI box , wiring harness , stator , flywheel and also the CRf carb.

evrything was from an 05 CRF and I got the carb for 300$ with a fuel screw and quickshot .

the ignition I got evrything for 75$.

i bought the timing plate from dasa for 60 or 70$

they sent a instruction sheet with the plate about the machining that needs to be done and its pretty simple , Im a machinist so I will do it myself but any machine shop in your area could do it for cheap.

I got some valve springs from dasa just to be sure that the extra revs wont make the valves floating.

I appreciate the reply man, but I think with the info that I gathered about this swap that I cant to it on my 2006.
