The other day i was just riding my 01 ktm 125sx around not doing anything special when i turned it off for about a half hour and went to go start it it wolndt start. I changed the plug, drained the gas. Its got compression when i kick start it but it wont start. Could it be time for a new top end?

2 of my friends 125 2 strokes did the same thing, the one needed a whole new top end, and then other one we don't know why, cause it was 2 days after it got a new top end

Did you actually run a compression test? Or it just has "some compression" because the piston still moves up and down?
