can i safely lower my 06 450 . the seat height seems alot higher compared to the yfz or ltz. i mainly ride dunes , trails and race for fun, jump (not a high flyer) no 40ft. jumps yet.
oh ya and im on a tight budget, cant afford extened a arms yet.
DERSISI RACING makes a rear linkage supposed to work with stock shock and lowers bike, but how about the front???

You should have bought a LTR - That way you won't tip it over when you running fast (in your case 2nd gear).

lol if LTR's are so great...Wanna race me with my R:devil:

Anyway, to lower it you could get smaller tires/wheels, the only true way to lower it would be threw new suspension, which is alot of money

Bi Gal,

I dont think he wants to break the frame on a less than 40' jump.
and he likes the feel of power, which would leave out the ltr.

anyone can slap +2 a arms and gt thunder rebuilds and out handle the stock ltr

also you can get the gt thunder rear shock link which will lower you quad by 1 to 2 inches and will help the way the shocks works also cost about 175.00 or less

you can buy a lowering kit that moves the front shocks out toward the tires more I think they only cost about 70 bucks. Drops it about a inch or two. I made a set for drag racing, cost me nothing and they do t he job. Sorry I cant post pics for some reason.
