Does the 250r, 400ex and 450r aftermarket axles interchange?

No. The 450r is different.

You can use a 400EX and I think the 450R too(double check though)........but you have to run those wheel hubs.

spline count is different.

The 450R will NOT work, the carrier is shorter, which means you will not be able to get to lock nut on. The 400EX will work if you use 400EX hubs.
