Got my 07' 450er lastnight

What can I say, I love it. It feels alot slower then a stock YFZ and 700r Raptor, but I love the ergonomics, and I can feel how much better made it is then the Yamaha's. Its solid as a rock, handles good, and has a huge balace point. Ill have pictures tommorow sometime. I decided to get a white one because, the SE's red frame would have the paint scratched off in no time. All in all, its a great bike.

put a hrc kit in it, you will notice a huge difference in the bike i know i did...i know the stock exhaust on mine is getting ready to go imma get a slip on to go with my hrc header

Sounds like you need a cam in that thing. The stock cam that they put in it is just retarded. It runs sooo much better with an aftermarket cam, not to mention the performance is on a whole other level. I can eat the competition alive!

Sorry for the stupid question - but what is an ER? Is it a hybrid between the EX and R?

Well since 450"R" are kickers, I'd only imagine "ER" are Electric and kicker. Don't quote me on that though.

er on has electric, no kicker unless you put on one.

lol thanks man. The pictures are bad quality but ill try to get some outside in the day light tommorow, to brighten up the pictures. If I get an HRC kit will that hurt reliability?

Looking good! The white plastic looks great. Some shock covers would really bring it out.

As for the HRC kit, the bike will not lose reliablity. If it is anything like the 06s, your bike will run about a million times better after the cam...especially on start up and for eliminating stalling.

Thanks for the comments guys! Shock covers in the near future and probably some black c-series rims. Hondas must be really cold blooded, because it takes awhile for it to warm up. I just cant get over how much more noticable quality and time went into the 450r in comparison to a YFZ. I love the bike.

my 450r ran alot better once i got the hrc kit put in....not only that whoever said it started better is correct as well...seems like to me from the factory the jetting is way off causing it to not want to start like its posta....id say get the hrc kit, get an air filter, get a slipon exhaust...because a full system aint needed because the hrc header is about the same size as most aftermarket exhaust headers...and u should be right up to par

I work for a branch off of UPS. Used to be called Sonic air. Now its called UPS - SCS..but anyways Yea I will let you know.
