my jetting isnt lean or anything but i was wondering if you guys get white smoke coming out of your exhaust during winter? because it cold outside

the jetting could be lean, it changes with the weather. cold air compresses more. in the winter your drawing in more air, so you need to add more feul

yea seems to do then the most but i also think it does after ive been riding.......... i see cars doing the same around here tho too

if it's on start up its just moisture coming from inside the exhaust and stuff, but if it's doing it when you ride then it could be a whole bunch of problems. Sense you said white smoke I'm pretty sure that your jetting is off. Whats your carb at?

Could be your jetting, could be condensation inside pipe.

it only seems to smoke at startup now..... elevation-1200 ft, temp-35 F, needle- 3rd from top, main-180 (may make it a 170), pilot jet-40, pilot screw- 2 turns out, choke removed,full pipe, no lid, hotcam,416cc

if its just on start up, i wouldnt worry about it unless it smells like its burning oil. if so, it could be bad valve seals

my 180 main jet on my 400 still isnt rich enough
