I have an 06 with electric start and kicker added. I don't like the second you have to wait when I start it with my kicker. I have done everything recommended by HMF to make the FCR carb work better. Has anybody put on an 04/05 carb. If so, how does it work? My 04 ran great with it. I know I will lose some throttle response but it won't have that bog anymore right when I am starting it. Opinions please.

I heard from a few pro guys about this.. We actually talked about it last night at the shop and yes you can do it. It will work at its by opinion but some say its pretty bad asss.

Will it will fit and everything without modifications? I am either going to do this or add a hot-start to the FCR.

I put one on a 06 and with the carb and stage-2 hot cam with stock pipe it can run beside and sometimes beat a yfz with a 470 kit..........and the bike is still never responsive with this carb

I would get an FCR with hot start, play with the leak jet, pilot, and fuel screw. that's the route I would go

Send your FCR or get a FCR from Tokyo Mods. Then you will be happy.

Talk to Colby from C&D racing on this site, he is very good at helping getting FCR's set up, a lot of members have already done this.;)

Start with a 35 leak jet,I believe that is the smallest one you can get. Magic racing has individual jets try them under 10.00. Try this first,I had the bog and was always left on the starting line kicking with my 04.Now I'm pulling nearly every holeshot. Good luck.:macho
