I am starting to rebuild my 250R, and I was trying to increase my options on used parts. Does anyone no for a fact about any parts that will fit, and work properly. I do appreciate opinions, but I would prefer Facts only it makes it easier. Thanks

400EX shocks will work....i don't think 450R shocks will.....there i think 2 inch longer than stock 250R,400 EX.......rims from any honda 88 and up will work.....i think 450R bumpers and grab bars will work with alittle bit of modding but u can get 250R bumpers and grab bars yet.......other than that a-arms for the 250R are the same as a 400EX .........300EX and a 250X they all bolt up...but you want 400EX for the 250R there the same size .as anything u can get for an R.......thats all i can think of hope it helps

A good thing to look into is a set of 450r spindles, with the 450r brakes, and rotors. The stock 250r ones are cast steel, and the 450 ones are aluminum. Also the 450r brakes are better than the 250r ones, so you will get better braking. There is also a way to put a 450r rear caliper on the 250r, but it is more in-depth than just a bolt on mod. I don't know all the details of it, but I think there is a sticky in the 250r section on what you need to do it.
