View Full Version : MX ready kfx400 FOR TRADE
kfx in my sig, want to trade for a quad AND CASH, open to just about anything...xc ready 250r, 400ex, 330ex, warriors, raptors, yfz, 450r...if its 400cc or less it needs to have quite a bit of modding done to it, yfz's,450r's, and raptors can be pretty close to stock.
still want to ride but need some money to get me through wrestling season. just let me know, and i'll be getting better pics when i get a chance.

do you still have all the stock parts? what is the weight rating on your shocks? what is the overall width of the bike in the rear and front? And what motor mods do you have?

nope stock parts are gone, +4 axle and +2 a-arms so just look up the stock width and add 4 inches to the front and back, no motor mods, just the full pipe, filter, that kinda stuff.

what weight are the shocks set up for?
oh my bad i thought i stuck that in there, they're set up for a 170lb rider but im only bout 150lbs and they've worked out perfectly for me.

I might be interested in trading my 250r...fresh powdercoat, nerfs,razrs on baja rims, pro-taper bars, works shocks,powermadds, 38 mm airstryker carb, have the blue plastic and red, this thing is spotless, I'm in the process of rebuilding the top-end...just to freshen it up...let me know...Thanks

Its a FMF Fatty Gold, also has a anti-fade lock nut...This bike ripped before I took it apart to rebuild...I'm going with a 265 bore with the low to mid port job it has it will rip in the woods...I live in Paintsville, KY in eastern Ky...Where you from??? Can you e-mail me some more pics of yours;dvkeen@bellsouth.net How much to boot are you looking to get, because I have a ton in this thing, but I want something different to tinker with, I like to tinker with them more than ride them,LOL Let me know...Thanks

I DONT KNOW IF HE WILL BE INTERESTED OR NOT. WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PAST WITH QUADS AND NO TITLES.
I WILL SEE IF I CAN FIND PICS OF THE 450R
alright well just let me know. i bought the quad from a guy thats a mechanic at Bluegrass Cycle here in kentucky, he had bought it from the dealer he worked for so the quad is clean...

i had decided to keep it but im gonna bump this back up now that i've actually started college and its getting tight with tuition and all that being due, willing to sell, also trades plus cash, quad now has 20" kenda radials in the back and 22's in the front to match, suspension has been raised, and it now has a green monster graphic on the hood, quad looks sick, great condition, zero problems.

heres the most updated pic i have of mine, sorry it was taken when we were out riding so its not clean but...the quad is in the exact condition of these other pics if not better, the only thing missing in the pic is a monster graphic it now has on the hood.

hey man i dnt have nepics at this time i would be willing to drive and meet u to check each others quads out though the overall cond. of my quad is its n great condition motors strong only has i thnk 30hrs over breakn time on it and plastic wise a couple stretch marks from were my sister sat on the back rite side of the plastic she didnt know nebetter though....and there isnt neproblems wit it at all that i know of....and i have clean dealership title in hand..

its a 02 blue and i updated all the ball joints and put a aftermarket starter on it this year and replaced the lonstar carrier wit a new one went through and completly redid the whole quad almost everything is new and it has itp t9 rims with holeshot tires.. on the front itp t9 rims with brand new set of stock tires on the back well ive rode on them a few times but not much..
where in IN are you from? im from the north east part, ft. wayne, and im in lexington now and have drivin between them a thousand times so just let me know where your from and i'll pick us a good meeting point
and please man, its fine if you dont have access to pics but just be straight up with me, is it going to be worth my trip? my quad is in excellent condition and im not gonna trade it for somethin that "needs tlc" or "well, it runs good" kinda shi*...so i mean i'll prolly meet you to look at it but just dont waste both of ours time and gas money....

hey man this weekend can u make the meet.
hey uh...im still interested but hopefully you'll understand like...before i meet i'd really like to see some pics. im not in a huge hurry like if it takes you a few days thats fine but, if you could find a way to get me pics i'd really appreciate it.
oh and are you ok running pump gas? i dont wanna have to get race gas...and do you still have the stock shocks?
