It was either planet honda or service honda I got for $90. That is stock of course. Otherwise Durablue makes them for about 300 I think.

to take out the axle what do you have to do? my friend told me you just take the top off the differential rip out the gears and then the axle just pops out

dude are bike(250ex)does not have a differantial, if it did we would have to buy axels that come in 2 peices and you dont have to we have a straight axel like everyother bike the only reason we have that like drum think in the back is fot the drum brake.all u need to do is loosen the locknut and take of one wheel hub and it should slip right out

To take off the axle, you have to take the hubs off, then take off the axle lock nuts, then take out all the the brake shoes. Then it should slide right out. Done it on more than one occasion.

it's easy, but time-consuming. I'm on my 3rd axle.

remove wheels
remove hubs
remove rear brake assembly

do it yourself, it is not all that hard if you take your time.

I think durablue is the only company that makes wider axles.

I bend my axle because I jump to high and one time I didn't land to perfectly:o

no, g force and lonestar and alot of other companys are longer, they just give you spacers to put behind your hubs

Sorry, I meant I think durablue is the only company that makes wider axles for the 250ex.

Man you gotta be jumpin high because i put my 250ex in the air about 6 ft high on sum jumps and i never bent an axle doin that. I bent mine because i tagged a wooden fence post and went crashin to the ground while the quad did gymnastics across the yard. That was in 2002, and nobody made an aftermarket axle for it then. I had to get an oem one. Try midwest moto online or call em. They usually will give pretty good deals.

once my 250 broke its scrotum, i had to repair the diff and bolt on a 2001 raptor carb with its 47 pistons in order to fix it, but than again its running on 115 octane alcahol. :D
