Just wondering what everyone thinks is a more comfortable ride; The YFZ 450 or TRX450R? I sat on a new YFZ and felt like I was on a Mini quad. It felt like the the pegs are higher than on the 450R.

Cool Ya thats the same way I felt. I sat on the raptor right after the YFZ and its more comfy.

the yfz feels too flat for me. no contour to the bike.

the 450r comes first, then the ltr450 then the yfz for comfort.

i dont own either, but from the times i've ridden both, the honda feels better, but i like the yamahas gas tank better, the hondas comes out and u hit your knees on it while turning

I've owned both the 2005 YFZ450 and the 2005 TRX450R.

Being that I'm 6'5", I felt MUCH more comfortable on the Honda. It seems to better suit larger riders (weight and height). The Honda sits a bit higher, and doesn't "hug" the ground like the YFZ.

Most of my buddies felt more comfortable on the Honda as well. Only a couple of my shorter friends liked the feel, and ergonomics of the YFZ more.

Hope this helps.

I like the way the Honda feels much better than the YFZ as far as comfort. I feel awkward on the YFZ.

be like me, buy both!

Raced a yfz for 2.5 years, loved the bike, always felt good on me and i never rode a honda.

I got on a honda, and fell in love with the difference. It felt more like i was riding a quad, instead of something else.. i dont know how to describe it.

It's all personal feel for you, plus you can change things like peg height and seat height on the bikes either way
