Does anyone have any pics of there trucks/SUV's with All Terrains on them. I'm not sure if I want them. Either them or some mickey thompsons. Any off road tire information would be greatly appreciated. I want a tire with some decent tread but wont humm like krazy going down the road.

toyo open country's are the way to go. I just got some on my truck and i love them. They will go through anything and handle awesome in all road conditions. BFG's all terrains dont handle that well on the high way and don't "self clean" after you get out of the mud. Don't get me wrong, all terrians were one of the best tires 10 years ago but the technology is a little out dated. If you are low on cash they would be a good tire, but if you have a little more change in your pocket check out the open country's

Yes the BFGs don't do real good in thick mud. But they really don't do that bad. But in snow they are fawkin AWESOME!!! Best snow tire I have had so far. I haven't got a chance to test the Maxxis Buckshots in the snow yet. They were ok in mud but you really had to put your foot in it to clean the tread.

Thanks guys I think I narrowed it down to the Maxxis and Wranglers. There for my GMC 2500HD. Are the maxxis noisy? Which wear the best? And which are cheaper of the two?

I have the maxxis. I got mine used with 10k on them for $250. I think my friend got them for $450 from a guy in florida. Not sure though. They are not that noisy. A little humm but not enough to drive you nuts. Now the Wranglers are 35s on my friends truck and they can be loud. Not realy bad in the cab but worst then the maxxis, outside you can hear him coming down the road.

EDIT*

The maxxis have worn really good. About half tread with almost 30k on them. I have even done a few burn outs lol. The wrangler not sure. He has only had them for 3 months

The thing I don't like about the Mickeys are they don't look like they would clean out real well. But for a Mostly road tire they look good. Or hardpack

were suppose to get like 4 inches of snow tonight. I will let you know how the maxxis do. If I can get home lol

I just got some BFG all terrains on my truck and they ride smooth as can be and are great offroad. I had some big mudders on there before and trust me it rode horrible and you could hear me coming from a mile away. Unless all you do is offroad then its not worth it in my opinion unless you rotate them every oil change they just arent gonna last on the road everyday. I would go with the all terrains they are a great tire and they have nothing but great feedback.

BFG all terrains are absolute junk if you do any offroading. i have some on my jeep and hate them with a passion.

IMO teh best all around tire out there is the Interco super swamper Trxus MT. Great looks, fairly quiet on the road, wear good, and exceptional in ice and snow.

bfg a/t's suck bigtime on anything other than road i run cooper stt now but the st is cool too i have the stt on a zr2 s10 and they are nice diggers but handle great on the road wet or dry, really been satisfied, but when i buy a tire i want something to get be around in a little mud and snow without issue

We got some snow But I was only able to play in the hard packed snow that was on the road. My maxxis didn't do real well trying to get going in the hard stuff. They are too wide I belive. The BFGs did alot better. But for the fluffy stuff/some mude in the fields the maxxis did alot better.

Well as of now I think I'll go with the All Terrains just because there a heck of a lot cheaper then the Mickey's.
