what is the max rpms for a 300ex

i was wondering what the stock rpms for a 300ex were because i am doing a calculator and i need to know what my best sprokett combo would be if you have any ideas let me know

around 8700 or so rpms

I thought it was like 7800 rpm before the rev limiter kicks in.

I beleive it's even lower than that. I am thinking it's like 6800 stock. I know it was insanley low for a 282cc motor. I need to find the specs to be sure.

you guys could be right for some reason i just had that number in my head but im not very good with memory so it wouldn't suprise me if it was lower i know they don't rev out long before the limiter is there.

just looked at some dyno's and they stop producing power at aroun 7200 rpm on a stock motor with a pipe. and running up the rpm up to 10,000 u've already lost a good 5hp on a stock motor with a pipe.
