I just bought a 350x it came with a uni filter and I believe a complete cobra exhaust system. I pulled the carb apart to see if there was any jetting done and it had all factoty-stock jets. I changed the main from a 138 to 142 and left the pilot jet and needle alone, thinking I'll start with small changes. Well now it's fat the spart plug is black and so is the end of the pipe, I can hear it loading up too. I put 5 of those uni filter in the airbox lid and still no change.
I'm kinda baffled at this. The stock piolt is 42 and the needle is on the 2nd grove(same as a stock 400ex) Anyone got any suggestions?

I wasn't flaming on you so there is no need to act like a jackass. I was just pointing out the problem cause you seem to have failed to recognize it as one.
Just because it is modded don't mean you have to have fatter jetting. With an FMF pipe and K&N filter with no airbox lid my R ran stock jetting when I got it.

No need to use curse words, wasn't ditching on you either my friend. That's why I gave you a big smile.

Both 250R's I had, had aftermarket filters, pipes and did not have jetting done either. Hoping someone with a 350x would have something say before I jet back down this weekend.
I just want to know why the 400's can take a hugh jetting and the 350 can't.
