My Z wont start. It has gas, Just bought a new battery for it, and it has spark. What do you think is wrong with it.

I am assuming that it is cranking over? Have you tried putting the petcock on prime? It sounds as if it is starving for fuel.

I think he is trying to tell you to push it or pull it with another quad and roll start it. Still havent had any luck yet? Have you done anything to it lately, maintenance or mods ?

Well i just recently got done fixing a broken adjustment bolt. So the quad has been sitting for about a month. What really made me mad was when I put the new adjustment bolt on and reassembled the back end I was going to go riding because it was a nice day and it didnt start. Now there is snow on the ground and I cant go riding even if I do get it started.

Like I stated in my first reply, I would check to see if you are getting fuel first.

mabe your not getting enough compression to start it, you can have someone push you and dump the clutch in second gear and if it starts right up thats probly your problem which that could mean you have a whole is the piston or need new rings and rings are only like $30 but i would see if it getting gas first

i know this sounds stupid...but make sure your kill switch is on. also, checkfull line, carb, etc and make sure it is getting fuel.

You may need to get your valves adjusted, if the valves are not tight then it isn't going to start. Also you may want to check your choke cable. There is a chance it may be frozen up due to dirt and other junk getting into it.

Hope this helps.....
