I just purchase a 2006 450 r and have a LRD Pro 4 exhaust that i just installed.
It needs to be rejetted and was wondering if anyone out there has that perfect or ideal jet setup for this exhaust.
The bike is completly stock at this time with the exception of the exhaust.
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Your going to need to take the air box lid off and start with a 165 or 170 main jet. If you leave the lid on then just bump up one or two sizes. Take thew lid off for any noticable improvements in power. The HRC kit does away with the lid also. If your worried about dirt just get an aftermarket lid that flows good or make your own like I did.

Do yourself a favor and get an adjustable fuel screw so it's a breeze to make fine adjustments. checkout this one.

This is the set-up I am running now;
48 pilot
50 leak
needle 4th clip from top
178 main
modified air lid
K&N filter w/outerwear
pro-design boot insert
pro circiut air screw 1 1/2 turns out

you may be able to run a smaller main because i think your pipe
has a smaller core!
This should get you close, let me know.

Running like a chicken with it's head cut off .

LRD Pro-4 Exhaust
Needle clip _ 4th groove
50 pilot jet
150 MainJet
K&N Filter ( No Outerwear)
39 t Rear sprocket
1 1/2 turns on fuel mixture screw.

Removed Snorkle from Airbox and chose to keep lid on.

Huge difference on bottom end as well as Throttle response.
Before making the changes you really had to clutch it to keep from stalling right out of the gate. It now has a very smooth transition between all gears.
Thanks for your help.
I will get some pics up later. Have not had time to download them.
The LRD pipe is very throaty!
Wonder if the Quiet core takes much away from the throatiness sound of this exhaust ?
Take care

Take back that Dyno jet kit and just get Genuine Kelihn jets from you dealer. Also replace the stock nonadjustable needle with the HRC or one from a CRF450. I running on the third clip. Remember those Dyno jets sizes are not the same as kelihn. A 170 dyno is not the same as a 170 kelihn.

The needle was replaced with the adjustable one that came with the Dynojet kit.
I was told that the Dynojet Main # 128 is close to a 150 kelihn. Is this correct ?
It's running very well now. I am not planning to make anymore changes until i can get a good day's riding in with 40-50 miles on the current setup to determine if changes are needed.
Thanks,
