if i tar my 250 ex apart this winter and want to make my motor look alot better what would u guys say i should use to clean it up..... and my rims? they are douglas red lables but need a polishing

Degrease the motor really good. You may want to polish a few parts, cases, mounts, ext. Then for the wheels give them a good buffing and use your favorite polish. I use mothers.:D

go to the dollar store get oven cleaner spray it on scrub the motor and wash it off w/ water, make sure you seal the motor first

Mother's is my favorite aluminum polish. To get all the stuff off the motor, a combination on a good de-greaser, and mildly diluted simple green.
