89mm piston with a 88mm sleeve

89mm piston with a 88mm sleeve, dose this go together with a boring off the sleeve. why not a 89mm sleeve

is it an aftermarket sleeve? if it is a big bore sleeve it should work. to my knowledge there are only 3 common sleeves fro the 400ex. stock, big bore, and one for eeven larger bores such as 92mm. i would say it should work if it is a bibg bore sleeve already, on a stock sleeve it will not work.

yeah it is a 88mm big bore sleeve

every big bore sleeve that fits a 88mm pistons should be able to be bored out and fit the 89mm piston. everyone that i know of does anyways.
