Did you guys see this thing some shop in texas called mr. turbo is selling a turbo kit for the raptor supposed to be 70 ponies at 7 lbs. of thrust. I want one for my ex!

I've seen these kits before. If you want one, get ready to lay down some SERIOUS $$$. If I remember right, its around $4000+ for the kit. You have to convert the fuel system to a EFI system (with computer), tweak the engine for the boost (ie lower compression) and a bunch of other crap....I dont think the quad is going to be too reliable after you are done with all that.


I think a 400EX with a turbo would be good power, but a Raptor with a Turbo...that is insane...IMO.

Actually from all the pipe shootouts, pipe reviews, and what I've read out here on exriders the white bros. E series exhaust will give you the same power boost..as the turbo charger..:D and if ya weld a cobra pipe on the end of the E-series it will sound like a F-14 fighter jet..

the turbo has about 65,000 of hard abuse on it. It's off a 91 GSX turbo intercooled. It was in my uncles DSM before he put in a T-66 :cool:. It's been sitting in my garage for about 3 years now, and unc just sold the eclipse. I kept the turbo because i think it's cool looking :). It's so beat up that I wouldnt put it in another car.

I'll miss that car, but a 93 RX7 is a great replacement :)
