Congrats man. You wont beable to go back to stock shocks ever again. One thing is too keep in mind is think about how much time you spent buying them. Dont slack off installing and setting them up. Use care, grease and instructions. Also dont go balls out the first time on the new shocks. Make sure they are dialed in and you are used to how they respond.

:)

12-09-2006, 04:16 PM
There is acompany that makes dust caps for Heim joints, I saw it last week. I'll look around and see if I can find it for you. The reason why it stood out to me was because I use G33's myself and I go through about 3 sets of bearings a season. Did you use the stock bushings to mount the arms? If you did I recommend replacing them with the Pivot Works needle bearings (much smoother longer lasting and they're serviceable). Looks hot

Yeah, something doesnt look right to me. In the picture you have of one side installed, it almost looks like the Walsh side is up higher at the spindle area. Usually, with LT, there is a good amount of sag and its usually lower then stock when fully extended.

JRP
12-09-2006, 09:41 PM
ya i know, cernics said they were already set up, but i guess not. Any one know anything about my front brakes? I really need to find out, becasue i am riding tomorrow(not thati need them that bad:p ) I took off the nipple of my bleeder line and pumped my front brakes atleast 200times and nothing.... Its like my front break lever has no pull in it, i pushed it alllll the way in with my pinkey:confused:

Mxjunkie
12-09-2006, 09:48 PM
Put fluid in your ressivor then pump your handle a couple times while you or someone taps the lines (specially the metal lines) with a wrench, hold your lever, loosen slightly your one bleeder for a second dont take it off, tighten it and proceed to pump your lever and do the same thing till no air comes out only fluid..

You dont even have to really pull your lever all the way in it actually work's better when your first starting out to actually just tap your lever slightly you'll see the air bubbles coming up..

It should take hell 2 minutes to do it

We used a ear seringe(sp). I filled it up with brake fluid then put the seringe in the hole and pushed the brake fluid in. It actually worked great! The front does look low. You need to fix that. It will want to kick you up over the bars more.

JRP
12-10-2006, 06:47 AM
ya i knwo they need more air.... since the temperature changes alot, my air pressure gets different. all it takes is 5min and its better, just got to pump em back up. and i will adjust my tie rods today and get some action pics!

12-10-2006, 08:59 AM

The same thing happened to me, but the other day I was messing around with them and it just started working all of the sudden.

I'd try getting some some air moving through it....get some compressed air and shoot it everywhere you can....there could be some dirt stuck somewhere where it shouldn't be:confused:

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. I don't know what would cause a master cylinder to just fail completely.

Common Pepper it aint rocket science to bleed brakes :scary:

Are you holding the lever when someone loosens the bleeder then tightens it back up?

When you loosen the nipple up does air come out, any fluid with the air?

As you tap the lever is air bubbles coming thru while someone tap's the brake lines?

You have my cell phone number call me if u got anymore problemos lol

well i got my brakes finally working, it took 45min to get the air out!:o :p But oh well.. lets just say, we got it working and i rode, and OMFG!!!!!!!!!! haha i have this one hill that has massive breaking bumps and usually i have to break really early and go slow becasue it will kick me off, not any more! i was on the gas all the way down the hill then i just had to barely lean and it turned. I LOVE IT. i came back to my dad and he asked how it felt and i said with a smile "you see this smile day?" he said ya, i told him thats a 2g smile and it was all worth the hardwork and money!" he said well im glad you enjoyed spending your money that you worked for, and that just made me happy, ahaha. all right ill shut up and heres the pics. sorry no action ones, my dad wasnt gonna take any and no one else was there.....
