I got an 04 srt-4 with MPx big FMIC,MBC,turbo timer and some other appearance goodies.I can push 18 punds off the stock turbo and it crazy!Most of the time I keep it at 15 pounds.No new pics with the new rims and CF hood so far cause its under a cover till winters over.After winter a full CF interior is coming...even the headliner:eek:

i second that. i had a guy pull up beside me in a older tsi the other day. he started revving up his motor so i asked him if he wanted to race. he said "i have a turbo, you don't stand a chance".

meanwhile i am sitting in my 05 ctd quad cab. i just laughed. we got to the next light after the 'race' to just about the speed limit (all i will race to) and he was astounded. he couldn't believe he was beat by a truck.

i told him to pull over and i would show him why. he didn't know trucks "could have turbos". obviously he knew nothing of cars and was just talking crap about his tsi. it was really funny and i think i educated him a lil bit.

can u feel a lot lag between the shifts with the srt-4? did u get that new or used? and whats a CF interior?

as for my turbo, well i dont have one yet but lookin at the eclispe GSXs, 4g63t, t for turbo, awd............powerhouse

lol we got a cummins right now.. just the extended cab, been looking for a 4 door truck. We drove a powerstroke and it was a slug compared to our cummins. Had a ton of room in the cab though.

The big front mount intercooler helps alot with the lag I think.It has alot more throttle response now.The CF stands for Carbon fiber.I am getting all Carbon Fiber interior such as a,b,c pillars,fuse box,arm rest,glove box and headliner along with all new door sills.
Their is a guy over on srtforums that is making them for unbelievable prices so I gotta jump on it:devil:

go to straightlinespecialties.com thats where i work when i'm in fargo. those guys have some sweet turbo setups if you click on projects on their main page. my boss just sold his civic a little over a month ago and it was pushing over 400 hp to the wheels and ran an 11.2 quarter now he has an EVO with some aftermarket stuff on (FMIC, BOV MBC ect...) it but it will be faster eventually.

they are a nice, but you have to keep the R's up or they are a dog.
can't go wrong with a Subaru.

my other friend has a VR6 jetta with a custom turbo set up. It ran real good until he put like 16psi to it.
His grandparents own a small VW shop so he built a new VR6(all forged balanced and blueprinted bottom end and stock top end until he turbo's it) for it and has not put the turbo back on it. he has all the stuff for it but he need a timing retard and a better fuel management system, intercooler and it professional toned.
He is thinking about putting in the rear of a rabbit and making it a drag car.

there is a little company that makes twin turbo SBC that make 800 on pump gas and over 1500 on race fuel.

i'd have to agree, it defeats the purpose, and is it necessary to have a license plate on the front of a car in some states, since they are on the back also?

Nothing real fancy, my old '92 TSi AWD. Hacked air can, filter, Buschur exhaust, Hallman manual boost controller, Centerforce DF clutch and 18psi (screwin' around on the strip at night but typically I ran it at 16psi) on the stock turbo.

Thank you! Anyway that exhaust tip would actually be a 3in cat back, that is connected to a 3in down pipe. What cheap parts? Sorry i do not have money for some VOLKS right now, but my wheels I have now will do.

it is very possible. drag cars make more then double the hp moving to methane over race fuel. its all about how your car is set up to run. if it burns more efficently that number might not be out of reach.

he gets plenty of flow thru the intercooler. the plate is removed for the drag strip.

you have to have it in maryland and he doesn't want to put holes in his bumper. don't blame him there.

the reason they put it on the front is for identification purposes. if your driving down the road a cop can see the plate and see what state your from and whatnot. also when your parked in a lot and backed in they can still see the plate. and yes, maryland cops pull alot of people over for it so we have to have them on there.

Thanks! It's a 91 turbo, I'm the second owner. It has less than 100K miles on it, stage IV kit as well. It's in mint condition, 5 speed. Being a 5 speed (only 10% were manuals on the Z), and having a unique interior option of leather on the door panels, makes the car kind of rare. It's got waaaaay to much power though. With the stage IV, you can't keep from breaking the tires loose, even in third gear! The car has so much torque when those turbos kick in. My STI is alot more fun to drive, cause I don't have to worry about the rear end coming around on me and ending up in the ditch!

intake, cat back exhaust, chip, changed the drive train to a one piece deal, rims, roters, stillen wing, white gauges, i guess thats about it, keepin most of it original, has enough power for me tho
its been garaged its whole life up until around 2000 it had 15,000 miles on it :cool: guy bought it and drove it for two years and put it right at 45,000 ive had it since around late 2002 early 03 and put about 13,000 on it most of that was the first year when i was restoring a 82 280zx which ended up replacing this as my daily driver, now the 300 is my weekend car pretty much anybody on here have/had a 240, 260,280z/zx?
