That is one of the ugliest front ends i've ever saw

I agree, it's not very good looking and I don't think it's going to dominate any MX circuits but I give Kawasaki credit for producing something. I'm not crazy about automatic transmissions but the package they've put together is killer for the average trail rider.

That thing is gonna be crazy fast! Think, in utility form, weighing 600lbs, that engine will pace a 400ex. Now it is bumped up in displacement, and hopped up internally, and in a lighter frame! Will I buy one? Probably not, but it is still cool that it is out there. Yes, it is ugly as sin. I think it looks like a utility that lost it's racks myself.

You are right on. I use to own a 02' 650 Prairie and it was neck and neck with my 400EX but with more top end.

It is still butt ugly though.

they should have just remade the LT500 since they're the same company now. this thing just wreaks of polaris hehe. auto tranny? come on, why don't they just set a sign by it saying "really fast eninge, but we put an auto in it so we wouldn't sell to many" i meen come on, serriously?

plus that freakin KAW with the big ***** V twin would roost just about anything in the woods. That thing would be a blast to ride. Jump on it, press the thumb throttle, and you'd be king of the woods. :D

The thing weights 508 pounds dry. And it don't use a chain, its has a driveshaft. If the frontend wasn't so hight it would look better.

pry comparable to the polaris 500 or 600 4x4 whichever it is. I doubt it even has that much horse power for the size of the motor. I wouldn't ever take it on a mx track.
