05 Gearing with 21"s?

Just wonder what you guys are doing to the gearing. I will have 21's soon enough so i was just wondering. Are you keeping it the same or dropping it down one?

thanks but i already have one of those. I was just wondering what everyone is running on teh 05's. I think people are dropping a tooth on the front right?

I would have to say yes. Just my opinion tho, and here is why.

Going from stock gearing/tires which is 14/38 and 20" tires to 14/38 and 21" tires will yield an overall "taller" ratio.

If you want your gearing ratio to feel more like stock, you might want to consider dropping a tooth in the front to a 13t.

Sprockets are cheap...try a couple combos and see what feels the best to the seat of your pants.

Yes I droped a tooth in the front and run the stock rear. I am running 22's in the rear. HRC kit with Sparks pipe and have no problem with the 22's.

yeah I think im going to go with the 21"s. Just for a LCG. Maybe the 22's. Not sure.lets say I will be trying out a lot of tire size/style with Kendas help!

I have HDs and there pretty tall, I have a 13 on it now but I got a new cam and piston so im going to a 14/39 because it can pull it now:macho
