400ex Rear Rim Tire Size for Rocks

Hi - newbie here. Cut to the chase - I am bottoming out on my skidplate on rocks alot. I think my rear rims are one size smaller than stock. What size can I bump up to for better ground clearance?

Is there other easy fixes? Stainless skidplates? etc?
